Dear Guitar China,
I am pleased to inform you that we have launched the web
site for the San
Francisco International Guitar Competition, to be held for
the first time on
October 26th and 27th, 2002. The SFIGC is a new competition
in which the
winner will receive training and practical experience in outreach/residency
activities. First prize is $10,000 U.S. and a three week residency
in San
Francisco. The competition welcomes all classical guitarists
who share the
objectives of the Competition.
