Look for Jim's guitar on the cover of the November issue of Acoustic Guitar Magazine and also in the classical guitar section of the magazines new book ‘Custom Guitars’. These are simply extraordinary instruments in every way. Jim is inspired by both Smallman and Fleta. Not surpisingly his guitars combine the qualities of both of these fine makers. We favor his Cedar guitars for their power and clarity. Jim uses many Smallman style features such as the parabolic arched back and lattice bracing, but has added several "tweaks" of his own such as special bracing features and a more conventional thickness of the soundboard. Playability is amazing, responding to every nuance of a player's attack, and the workmanship is at a standard found on only the very best instruments. Players who visit our shop and compare many instruments still choose a Redgate more than any other guitar! Try one and see why.
	1960 Marcelino Lopez 面板：云杉背侧板：巴西玫瑰木琴长：650MM 产地：西班牙价格：5,500美圆介绍：This was a model that Marcelino Lopez made for an instrument shop in Madrid. While the headstock design and the overall look of this instrument is typical Marcelino Lopez, the label is not his usual, it reads: "Orfeo, General Mercantil, Iberica, S.A., Madrid, Spain". The heelblock bears Marcelino's stamp. This guitar has a lovely sound which reminds us of a combination between the full, rich "Madrid" sound and the earthy, intimate qualities found in great "Granada" style guitar. The materials used are of the finest quality. The top is fine, tight grained German spruce, and the back and sides are very dark, straight grained Brazilian rosewood. The condition is excellent with no cracks or repairs and has just the usual minor playing wear on the top. Certainly a wonderful example of Marcelino's great work.
